Payment:
Celebration Cakes
Payment in cash, cheque or card is required upon collection or at point of delivery. Bacs transfers are accepted however need to be completed and verified prior to release of goods.

Deposits
Any cake exceeding £100.00 requires a 25% deposit. Order confirmation will only be agreed upon receipt of this payment. Payment of deposit will confirm acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Wedding Cakes and caked exceeding £100.00
Final Payment is required 6 weeks prior to delivery date.
Where possible an invoice will be sent to you at this point.

Payment details
Payment will be accepted in the following way.
Cash
Cheque (Made payable to Regency Cakes)
Bacs (Bank details are available on the bottom of all correspondence)
Credit/Debit Card (In person or by telephone WE DO NOT ACCEPT CARD DETAILS VIA EMAIL)

Cancellation Charges
In the event of cancellation:
a) Any booking fee or deposit paid shall be non-refundable
b) Any final balance or other amount paid up-front in advance shall be forfeited as follows
6 weeks prior to delivery 50% cost of total order
5 weeks prior to delivery 60% cost of total order
4 Weeks prior to delivery 70% cost of total order
3 weeks prior to delivery 80% cost of total order
2 weeks prior to delivery 100% cost of total order

Delivery
All deliveries by Regency Cakes will be delivered kerbside and would ask that you inform us if access or timing are restrictions at your selected address during the order process.
Please ensure someone will be available to accept delivery of your goods as a signature will be required. If the recipient is absent meaning there is no one at the address to receive the goods and prior alternative arrangements have not been made goods will be returned to Regency Cakes shop for collection. Further delivery attempts would need to be booked and paid for subject to availability.
Cakes and goods that require assembly and or staging will be unloaded and setup as required. After completion an evidential photograph will be taken and allergen list, ingredients list (if required) and leftovers box with allergen labels will be handed to the customer or nominated representative to take ongoing responsibility for the cake or goods. After inspection of the cake or goods and verification of the photograph as a fair representation of the cake or goods we will require a signature from the customer or nominated representative along with job title and time and date of delivery.
Regency Cakes takes no responsibility for cakes and goods after delivery to a customer or 3rd party (venue) in respect of cake or product being mishandled or moved, accidental damage, cake or goods being substituted or replaced, cake cutting and or distribution of cakes or goods, spoilage or contamination of cakes or goods by biological, physical or chemical contaminants, removal or loss of allergen list, ingredients list or packaging.

Hire Of Equipment, Charge And Return Of
A returnable deposit may be required for the hire of stands, bases and knifes.
The stand and/or knife is your responsibility to return in good condition and complete within 2 working days following your event. Non-return of the stand and/or knife by this time will forfeit your deposit, unless by prior agreement. Extra charges may be levied should the late return require replacement items to be procured. The name and contact details of the person who will be returning the items will be left with the Seller.

Inedible Parts
The flowers, bouquet and models on top of the cake are inedible, because although made of sugar they do contain wires, ribbons and /or structural support. The piped designs and frilling on the cake are edible.

Customer Supplied Cakes
By prior agreement, the Customer may supply their own cake(s), however, the Seller retains the right to refuse to use them if it is likely to compromise the Seller’s high quality of work. No liability for the contents of the Customer supplied cake will be accepted by the Seller. This also applies to commercially prepared cakes.

Customer Supplied Fresh Flowers
The Customer may supply their own fresh flowers, however, the Seller accepts no liability for what is provided. All efforts will be made to advise your flower provider of the exact requirements, when necessary.
The Seller cannot take responsibility for any damage rendered to the cake caused by flowers provided by your flower provider. Please note that some flowers are poisonous and are not suitable for use on food products, please contact your flower provider regarding toxicity as the Seller cannot be liable for contamination from flowers that are not provided by the Seller.

Allergies
The Seller is not able to guarantee nut-free cakes as the cakes are prepared in a facility where nuts are used. Every effort to minimise contamination will be made if required.
Where other allergies are to be considered, the Seller will do all that they can to ensure compliance with the Customer’s request, but the cakes are prepared in areas where these products may exist and every effort will be made to minimise contamination.

Force Majeure
All efforts will be made to complete your order, however, the Seller reserves the right to provide a cake of the same quality and similar value to complete the order. A refund may be given, but no liability for loss will be accepted.
In the event of the late return of a stand or base from another order, a replacement will be provided as close to that expected.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This contract shall be governed by the Laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this contract (including in relation to its existence) shall be brought exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

Regency Cakes reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time on giving notice through its website www.regencycakes.com
