Back in the hazy days of summer we had the greatest pleasure in creating this beautiful wedding cake for Ellie and Tom. The ombré colours in the buttercream matched Ellie’s dress completely and the beautiful edible flowers supplied by the_botanical_alchemist added the perfect finish. The cake is a lie…..or is it?!! We were asked to create a special one of a kind cake for L&S with all their favourite things but to hide it from their guests and from them so that the finish was a complete surprise on their wedding day. So we created a special iced message board from the video game Portal to hide the true design behind! It was amazing to have their complete trust to design their wedding cake and we loved creating this special wedding cake for them.

As autumnal vibes start to be felt we had to share

As autumnal vibes start to be felt we had to share this stunning wedding cake from a couple of weeks ago. The colour palette was burnt orange, terracotta and copper which we used to cascade across the buttercream wedding cake. Some beautiful roses from @emily_tallulah_flowers finished the elegant vibe to this wedding cake. We also made some matching colourful macarons which we displayed on a small tower alongside the wedding cake.

When N & T designed their wedding cake they wanted

When N & T designed their wedding cake they wanted to ensure it was perfect for them. To create this we made both their dogs from sugar along with N’s horse in a stable around the back. T was dressed in his ‘Triathlon’ gear complete with medal and number on his back, whilst N was in her wedding dress with her Hollywood waves hair!!
They had a great wedding day at @lanwadeshall and made the most of every minute of it!
